Sixth annual "An Evening of Conversations and Connections" hosted by the New York City Alumni Club at "Convene" - an upscale conference center on Park Avenue. The theme of the event was "Embracing Entrepreneurship" and featured Grace Leong, AS88, Managing Partner at Hunter PR; interviewing Charlie Horn, AS75, Founder and Chairman of 5 Lights Group and chief benefactor of the Horn Program in Entrepreneurship. In addition, the event featured presentations by Dan Freeman, Director of the Horn Program in Entrepreneurship; Tanya Bakalov, BE04, Founder and CEO of BetterSkills, Inc. with a talk titled "Launching Startups"; Susan Frech, HS95, Co-founder and ERO of Social Media Link talking about "The Value of the Entrepreneurial Skill Set"; Monica Burns, Ed.D., EHD07, Educator and Founder of ClassTechTips.com speaking about "Being Entrepreneurial in Unexpected Ways"; and Neil Book, AS99, President and CEO of Jet Support Services, Inc. presenting "Driving Growth in Established Companies, the Entrepreneurial Qualities." - (Evan Krape / University of Delaware)
