Celebrating CSAM 2020 at UD
2020 has been an unusual year, to say the least. Much of the world went virtual seemingly overnight. And a significant portion remains that way as we head into October.
This October is the 17th annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CSAM), an annual, month-long celebration of cybersecurity in recognition of the growing importance it plays throughout our lives.
Led jointly by the United States Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance, CSAM helps educate the public about safe computing and information practices. Throughout October, the government and more than 600 public and private organizations nationwide champion the cybersecurity cause.
Stay safe, stay healthy, stay secure
This year, we're keeping the message simple. Here are a few tips and resources to stay secure while you tackle all that work and life are throwing at you.
- Phase II of 2020 Secure UD Training is now available. The curriculum takes less than 20 minutes; earn your certificate of completion today!
- Set up your 2FA app: Configure Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator as a more secure replacement for SMS-based two-factor codes.
- VPNs: When to use Anyconnect, and when to use Palo Alto.
