If you are using Veteran Affairs (VA) or Department of Defense (DOD) education benefits, please know the enrollment certification renewal for upcoming semesters/terms is NOT an automatic process.
If you plan to use VA benefits, you must submit the UD Veteran Education Benefits Enrollment Data Form as soon as you register for the following term to reactivate your benefits and prevent a lapse in payment. Without a new enrollment form, your payments (tuition, book allowance and your monthly housing allowance) will stop.
If you are using CH.35 VA benefits and this is your first term using these specific benefits, email VABenefits@udel.edu (the School Certifying Official - SCO), after submitting this form. To complete the VA certification process, the veteran's Social Security Number is required in order to submit the VA certification to the VA for payment. Please DO NOT email the Social Security Number; instead, contact VABenefits@udel.edu and schedule a phone call or Zoom meeting to provide this information.
