Spring 2020 ISO Details

ALL International Students

International Student Orientation (ISO) will be held on Thursday, February 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Trabant University Center. This orientation is mandatory for all incoming international students. The government check-in process, which is also mandatory, will take place between 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Following government check-in, students will learn from OISS staff and campus presenters about immigration regulations and available resources to successfully transition to UD as an international student. There will be opportunities to win prizes and meet other new students, and lunch will be provided.

We recommend that you arrive a couple of days prior to this date. Remember, you may not arrive more than 30 days before the start date on your I-20 or DS-2019.

Undergraduate Students

Your second day of undergraduate New Student Orientation (NSO) will be held on Friday, February 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Trabant University Center. Learn more and register for NSO. Undergraduate students may be required to take placement examinations or attend special meetings for new students. Questions about such requirements or about other details of your academic program should be addressed directly to your program office. Admission and degree requirements are explained in the UD catalog.

To apply for early Housing check-in, log into your My Housing portal. Those with questions are encouraged to contact or to call 1(302)831-4663 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

Graduate Students

All new international graduate students are required to attend New Graduate Student Orientation (GSO). Details will be shared soon, via UD email and on The Graduate College website.
