Commencement Week is upon us! This is a great time for Blue Hens everywhere. To our graduating students, in particular: You have achieved so much during your time at UD. We cannot wait to celebrate this important milestone with you.

As we enter this festive week, please remember the following important information:

Tickets required for graduates and guests for all ceremonies

Tickets are required for every ceremony. They are not interchangeable, as they are specific to each ceremony. Graduates attending more than one ceremony must reserve tickets for each ceremony for themselves (the graduate) and their guests. To ensure the safety, security and enjoyment of all graduates and guests, entry is not permitted without a ticket.

Ticketing closed on May 19. If graduates who plan to attend any of the ceremonies have not reserved tickets, please email commencement@udel.edu immediately. We will do our best to honor late requests for tickets, though we can not guarantee availability due to capacity limitations.

For instructions on how to reserve, claim, download and transfer tickets, please refer to https://www.udel.edu/students/commencement/tickets. Remember: Each ceremony will be live streamed at udel.edu/udlive

Conduct guidelines at UD ceremonies

Commencement and convocation ceremonies events are celebratory occasions that recognize the accomplishments of our Blue Hen graduates and the culmination of their years of hard work. As we honor the spirit of these important moments, please remember to conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful of your guests, the guests of others, your fellow graduates and you.

All participants and attendees deserve an orderly and dignified experience and, as such, are expected to adhere to the University of Delaware’s policies. Consult our FAQ and the Commencement website for more information.

Thank you and best wishes to our Blue Hen graduates!
