Dear Colleagues,

I’m pleased to announce the formation of the search committee for the next dean of the Graduate College and vice provost for graduate education at the University of Delaware. Advancing graduate education is mission-critical for UD, and the Graduate College exists to serve the entire University community through campus-wide support for graduate students, colleges and departments.

This search is limited to UD faculty. As part of the process, candidates will meet with stakeholders across campus and present their vision statement at an open forum. Our aim is to name the new dean by December, with a planned start date of Jan. 1, 2026. The position description and information about applying or nominating a colleague are available on the Provost’s web page. The nomination deadline is Oct. 10, and the application deadline is Oct. 15.
