At UD, I had the unique opportunity to live out my dream of helping the elderly and chronically ill through a program that I founded called Lori’s Hands. I volunteered my time and energy with other caring college students, and I am pleased to have impacted the lives of so many local residents.
My mom wasn’t there to see me graduate with 3,400 of my classmates on May 28, but I know she would have been proud of me. I established Lori’s Hands in her name. It’s a legacy that will continue to be run by Blue Hen students for many years to come.
Student-run programs like Lori’s Hands wouldn’t be possible without gifts from alumni, parents, and friends. Last year, more than 25,000 generous donors made gifts to enhance the student experiences at UD. When you make a gift to UD, you are helping burgeoning programs like Lori’s Hands get their start.
If you haven’t already done so, please pay it forward to future students by making an academic year-end gift. A gift of any size is appreciated and will make a difference.
Thank you for your support.

P.S. If you make your gift prior to June 30, 2011, we will be able to count you among our supporters this academic year. |
