Talent Development is now
Talent and Organizational Development

Talent Development has a new name–Talent and Organizational Development–to reflect our work to advance business objectives across the University. What this means for you are new learning opportunities and consultation support designed to meet your needs. We invite you and your teams, as well as departments, units and colleges, to engage in our learning community and become instruments of change.

New this fall:

  • Beginning in October, the contents of this newsletter will be incorporated in the monthly Working at UD News and Information Newsletter. Please look for our latest news there.
  • Organizational development offerings will include meeting design and facilitation, culture and engagement tools and coaching skill development. Submit an Organizational Development Request Form to arrange an intake meeting.
  • Customized LinkedIn Learning resources will focus on work-related topics of interest to UD employees. Course clubs, learning paths and guided learning journeys that can be used by individuals and shared with teams will roll out later this fall.
  • A new management development program is being created to meet the evolving needs of the campus. Emphasis will be placed on sharing UD-specific policies and procedures to equip managers with the business acumen and interpersonal communication skills to successfully lead their teams. The new program will be piloted this fall and launched in early 2023. The current Management Essentials Certificate courses will be offered through December 2022.
