New Management Certificate of Excellence launching—Winter 2023

Human Resources is launching a redesigned program for new and current managers this coming Winter Session. The new Management Certificate of Excellence, which replaces the Management Essentials Certificate, features expanded courses about UD processes and policies that all managers should know.

The goal is to equip UD managers to effectively lead their teams in an engaging way to deliver the business results needed to meet the University’s mission. Newly hired or newly promoted managers will be required to complete the certificate within the first 6 months of entering their role. Current managers are strongly encouraged to participate as well.

Additional details and registration will be available by the end of fall semester. To learn more, hear Melissa Bard, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, share her thoughts about this new offering in a 2-minute video.

Free COVID-19 testing is available weekdays on campus or you can pick up free at-home antigen test kits at several campus locations. In addition, a flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinic is scheduled Nov. 18.
