News you need

The Future of Working at UD

Many of our faculty and staff are back on campus, while other offices are making decisions about what a return looks like now and in the future. These decisions require careful planning, and Human Resources has resources available to assist with this process. The Future of Working at UD webpage contains a variety of tools to assist employees and supervisors continue to evolve their working arrangements in accordance with UD Policy. Resources include a decision tree, prompting questions, checklists, a supervisor discussion guide, frequently asked questions and more. Human Resources is available to assist areas with their plans, and as always, employees with questions about their specific work arrangement should consult with their supervisor.

COVID Protocol Modifications

Face masks are no longer required on campus in most non-classroom settings. Employees are encouraged to vaccinate, boost and upload their information to the UD Health portal. Read more details on our evolving guidelines for visitors, travel and more in this March 3 message to the University of Delaware community.

Performance Appraisal System Now Open

The performance appraisal system is now open for employees to begin the first step in the process, their self-appraisal. Completed appraisals are due back to HR by April 15, 2022. To help you set goals, we encourage you to view the online course, Setting Effective Goals, offered by Talent Development or LinkedIn Learning videos about Tips for Goal Setting.
