Downloading AnyConnect VPN client software on a Computer
- As of June 15, 2016
- when signing in to UD resources using a VPN connection you are required to use 2FA.
- faculty, staff, and students who log in to Copland or Strauss from off-campus are required to use a VPN connection.
- Download the Cisco AnyConnect software from the UDeploy Software Distribution site.
Install the software as you would any other software on
your computer: e.g., answering the installer prompts after
running the .exe file (Windows), double-clicking the .dmg file
(Macintosh), unpacking the .tar.gz file (Linux).

- The versions of AnyConnect available on UDeploy are all pre-configured for the University of Delaware's network. Versions are available for Windows 32/64-bit, MacOS 10.8 and higher, Linux 32-Bit, and Linux 64-Bit systems.
