Political Television Advertising

Here are some examples election campaign television advertisements.

• California Gubernatorial Election, 1990. The candidates were Dianne Fienstein (Democrat) and Pete Wilson (Repbulican). Since the 1964 Barry Goldwater-Lyndon Johnson presidential election, Democrats have been tagged as the party of affirmative action. But in this television spot advertisement, Ms Fienstein, who is now Democratic senator, tries to paint her opponent as pro quotas and affirmative action.
