Come again and again...

You'll find important announcements about readings, quizzes, tests, extra crdit, and other matters here, so make a point of visiting frequently.

Let's not meet this Friday January 16, but instead spend the time reading and reflecting about American government.

First test Friday January 23. About 25 to 50 multiple choice questions based on reading including those on web site, class discussions, films, and other relevant material.

First test results posted near Room 434 Smith. It's on the 4th floor.

Because I made a small error nearly everyone will get an extra point. Look for revised grades latter in the week.
Keep track of your points. The maximum for this test is 35.

Now final Test one grades are posted.

Clipping files can be picked up in or near Room 347 Smith Hall. That's on the third floor, not near my office.

I used the point system--20 points maximum. Just add these points to you first test points to find out where you stand.
I'll look at the extra credit later.
Get 'em, or lose 'em: pick up these papers by February 6 or they will be tossed. Thanks.

Grades for second test are posted near 434 Smith in the usual place. (Near Tarheel land.)

You can calculate your grade by adding points (scores) including 10 for quizzes.
