   This department believes strongly that good engineering
scholarship should be closely coupled to real engineering problems.
Consequently, we take advantage of our location in the Delaware Valley-
New Jersey "heartland" of the chemical process industries to work with
a significant number of industrial scholars who bring us specialized
skills in association with the art of engineering as well as the
