This goal was well met. These courses expanded my
knowledge base in a variety of learning models. I have
implemented various models in my classroom and have modified them to
fit the
needs of my students.
|
Utilize appropriate models of assessment
|
EDUC 680:
Educational Diagnosis
EDUC
600: Teacher as
Researcher
|
This goal was met, but I would like to continue to focus on
this goal. I learned a variety of assessment models, but I would
like to continue to learn how teachers can move beyond standardized
testing to use a variety of assessments to determine student
growth.
|
Utilize effective plans for discipline
|
EDUC 658:
Discipline and Classroom Management
|
This goal was well met. This class challenged my
thinking about plans for discipline. In addition, this class
helped me implement new ideas
in my classroom.
|
Utilize appropriate technology to enhance instruction
|
EDUC 632:
Internet Curriculum Applications
EDUC 685:
Multimedia Literacy
EDUC 885:
Best Practice in Educational Technology
EDUC 885:
Advanced Topics in Multimedia Design
|
I exceeded my expectations in meeting this goal. Every
class provided me with a wealth of knowledge. I began with
Internet Curriculum Applications, and this provided me with a
foundation
to build upon. The other three classes were more advanced and
helped me advance my knowledge. I now implement technology into
my instruction on a daily basis. I also challenge other teachers
to implement technology. The last class I took was EDUC
885. This was truly a culmination of everything I learned in the
MI
program. I was able to create a website from scratch using
Dreamweaver. I created the page for my entire grade level.
This was truly beyond my expectations.
