Dr. Bruno Thibault, Professor of French, comes from Paris, France. He has earned doctorates in French literature from both sides of the Atlantic: one from the University of Paris X (Nanterre) and the other from the University of Maryland (College Park.) A specialist in 20th century French literature, civilization and film, he has taught at the University of Delaware since 1987.

Dr. Bruno Thibault is the author of two books, "L'Allure de Morand: Du Modernisme au Pétainisme"(Birmingham, Summa Publications, 1993) and "Danièle Sallenave et le don des morts"(Amsterdam & New York: Rodopi Publishers, 2003), as well as of numerous articles on contempoary French writer J.M.G. Le Clézio.
