Two courses have been approved as three credit nursing electives and they also have been approved to meet the University multicultural requirement.  These courses were numbered as NURS 412.  The School of Nursing seeks approval  to accept NURS412 as meeting the NURS 411 requirement in the undergraduate curriculum (All BSN students are required to complete 6 credits of  nursing elective coursework).

This revision allows students to benefit from meeting University multicultural

requirement and their nursing elective requirement with two specifically designed courses.

For the traditional program:

On page 203:  It now says:  Each student is required to take 6 credits of NURS 411.

Revised to say: Each student is required to take 6 credits of NURS 411or NURS 412

 

For the Accelerated Nursing Program

On page 204: It now says: 

Each student is required to take 6 credits of NURS 411.

Revised to say: Each student is required to take 6 credits of NURS 411or NURS 412
