Faculty Senate agenda. Proposing
department should complete form, attach as a cover page and forward to the
college dean. Documentation should include copy of curriculum as it is to
appear in the Undergraduate and Graduate Catalog. Proposals must arrive to the
Undergraduate/Graduate Committee by November in order to reach the Faculty Senate
by March 1. Proposals received after
this date cannot be implemented the following year nor included in the catalog
for that year.

creation, revision, or deletion:
HESC
332 Health Behavior Theory and Assessment is being deleted from the major and
HESC 333 Health Theory and Program Planning is being
added. HESC 332 was required in both the
HPE major and the Health Behavior Management Major, Fitness Management
Concentration. A pre-req
was added to HESC 332 and a revision in the content of the course. This information is not necessary for the
Health and Physical Education Major to meet NCATE requirements. The content of HESC 333, Health Behavior
Theory and Program Planning fulfills AAHE requirements for NCATE.
