The Master of Instruction degree with a concentration in
School Library Media is predicated on the national standard for library media
specialists, namely, that it is the goal of the library media specialist to
help all school students and faculty become effective and efficient users of information
and that, through partnerships with the school faculty, student achievement is
the bottom line.
