Whereas the local business community has
expressed significant interest in the development of a Masters in Science
program focusing on Organizational Effectiveness, Development and Change, and
Whereas the Department of Business
Administration currently has faculty with significant expertise in the areas
associated with such a program, and
Whereas the proposed program can be delivered
within the existing faculty and currently open faculty line in the Department
of Business Administration, and
Whereas the faculty senate traditionally
has approved new academic programs on a provisional status for a period of 5
years followed by review for permanent status, be it therefore
Resolved that a Masters in Science Degree
with the major in Organizational Effectiveness, Development and Change be
established on provisional status in the Department of Business Administration
within the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics.
