List program changes for
curriculum revisions:
Replace 1 credit of elective
with 1 credit of private study in harpsichord or organ (MUSC 155 Private Study
for Secondary and Merit) or one semester of MUSC179 Organ Class
List new courses required for
the new or revised curriculum:
(Be aware that approval
of the curriculum is dependent upon these courses successfully passing through
the Course Challenge list. If there are no new courses enter “None”)
None
Other affected units:
(List other departments affected by this new or revised
curriculum. Attach permission from the
affected units. If no other unit is
affected, enter “None”)
None
Rationale:
(Explain your reasons for creating, revising, or deleting the
curriculum or program.)
The majority of our students will work as collaborative
keyboardists (accompanists) in their student and professional careers. Familiarity with another keyboard instrument
(harpsichord or organ) will be useful to them.
Program Requirements:
(Show the new or revised curriculum as it should appear in the
