RE: Review of PhD Program in Entomology and Wildlife Ecology

Please accept this memorandum as my support of the request from Douglas W. Tallamy, Chair and Charles E. Mason, Graduate Studies Director, of the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology, requesting to postpone the review of the department’s graduate program until fall 2006. The program is progressing, but since this is a new PhD program, this postponement will allow sufficient time for some of the initial students to complete the requirements and give the department a better representation of the status of the program.
