Global Agenda 2012 Honors
In their 2012 Global Agenda course, Honors students at the University of Delaware conducted weekly classes by live videoconference with students at Zayed University in Dubai, exploring political, cultural, religious and personal questions, while forming bonds and dispelling preconceptions about the United States and the Arab world.
Over their spring breaks, the UD students traveled to the UAE for a weeklong immersion experience hosted by the Zayed University students. The Emirati students traveled to Delaware one week later to experience American culture with their new Blue Hen friends.
