Electronic mail (e-mail) is the official way that the University of Delaware communicates with its students and employees. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all students and employees to manage and read e-mail sent to their UD e-mail accounts (udel.edu).

All enrolled students are eligible for an e-mail account, which in addition to e-mail use provides access to other Internet resources.
