Steps: |
1. Select a question or topic (e.g. Should the
electoral college be abolished?).

2. Give students time to think, and read, or write
about the topic silently and independently.
|
3. Have students discuss the topic and share their
thoughts in pairs. Then (optional), open the discussion
to the whole class. |
