About DSSEP

The Delaware Social Studies Education Project, is a social studies iniative, launched in 1999, by the Delaware Center for Teacher Education at the University of Delaware. Its goals are to:

• Advance the status and quality of social studies education
• Locate and develop resources for teachers
• Identify and disseminate instructional materials aligned with the Delaware content standards
• Deliver quality professional development
• Keep educators informed about the latest developments in social studies
