International research award deadline April 6 8:19 a.m., March 9, 2007--The Office of the Provost and the Center for International Studies invite applications from faculty for the International Research Award program as part of the University-wide America and the Global Community initiative. The initiative is designed to enhance opportunities for faculty and students to better understand the global challenges facing our society. The deadline for award applications is 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 6. The program is intended to support international research by UD faculty, and to serve as seed money for substantive research undertakings that will lead to applications for larger, externally funded support. The amount of each award will depend on the scope of the project but can be up to a maximum of $10,000 in IRA funds. It is anticipated that five proposals will be supported annually.
