Phillies' ball girls, UD spirit teams join Family Fun Weekend Feb. 10, 11

9:30 a.m., Feb. 5, 2007--Junior Jennifer Scanlan and five other Philadelphia Phillies' ball girls will sign autographs and pose for photos from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at UD's Fred Rust Ice Arena. There also will be sand-art activities for artistically inclined skaters.
The event is a part of the ice arena's Family Fun Weekends, public skating events in February certain to combat the winter doldrums.
From 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, a SpongeBob SquarePants impersonator will grace the ice, while off-ice skaters can get their faces painted. In addition, the UD Dance Team and UD Spirit Ambassadors will be on hand.
