HTAC stages ¹Jekyll & Hyde¹ April 13-23

4:49 p.m., April 7, 2006--UD's Harrington Theatre Arts Company will stage an evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil, Jekyll & Hyde, from April 13-23, in Pearson Hall Auditorium.

A musical by Frank Wildhorn, Jekyll & Hyde is based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story of a brilliant doctor whose experiment with human personality leads to deadly results.

The show is a pulse-pounding theatre experience and features an emotional score with hit songs like “This is the Moment” and “Someone Like You.”

The show stars junior Chris Saltalamacchio as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, senior Karen Mascolo as Lucy and sophomore Emily Friga as Emma Carew. Senior Luke Sizemore directs the show.

Performances are slated for 8 p.m., April 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 and 2 p.m., April 23. Tickets, which are $8 for the general public and $5 for students and senior citizens, may be purchased at the door. Group rates are available upon request.

For more information e-mail Karen Mascolo at [kmascolo@udel.edu] or visit [www.htacud.org].
