Ludacris in concert May 12 at The Bob
Doors will open at 7 p.m., and tickets, which are $29.50 for UD students with valid ID and $39.50 for all others, will go on sale at all UD box offices and Ticketmaster locations beginning Wednesday, April 27. There is a four-ticket purchase limit per student. Ludacris songs have enjoyed widespread radio airplay and enormous popularity on MTV for the past five years. He is one of todays leading rap stars, with music and lyrics that cut across racial and generational lines. He has produced several top-selling CDs since the late 90s. The Atlanta-based rapper became popular with his first album, Incognegro, and single, Whats Your Fantasy? which led to his success with Def Jam, South records. Other chart-topping songs include Southern Hospitality, Area Codes and Rollout (My Business). Ludacris released his most recent album, The Red Light District in December.
