Hens’ Beaufort named All-Mid-Atlantic rower

9:22 a.m., June 3, 2005--Laura Beaufort, a sophomore on the University of Delaware women’s rowing team, has been selected second team All-Mid-Atlantic Region by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).
Beaufort is the first member of the Fightin’ Blue Hens program to be named to an All-Mid-Atlantic Region team.
Beaufort, who earlier this year was named a CRCA National
Scholar-Athlete, competed in all seven varsity eights races for the Hens this spring. She is majoring in computer science and political science, with a minor in history, and has a 3.635 grade point average.
The regional team was selected by a committee of CRCA coaches.
