Coach Keeler slated for Thursday book-signing

K.C.Keeler signs a copy of Return to Glory for Richard Scherr, father of two UD students.
2:30 p.m., Aug. 24, 2004--UD head football coach K.C. Keeler will be on hand to sign copies of University of Delaware Blue Hens Return to Glory from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26, at the entrance to the UD Bookstore in the Perkins Student Center.

Produced by The News Journal, with a foreword by legendary coach Tubby Raymond, the book chronicles the magical 2003 season when the Hens swept to the NCAA I-AA national championship while compiling a 15-1 record, the best in UD history.

The book captures memorable moments of that season, from spring practice through the nail-biting wins against Maine and Massachusetts, culminating in the stunning 40-0 win over Colgate University in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Dec. 19.

A limited number of what is sure to become a keepsake for True Blue Hen fans, at $19.95, are available at all UD Bookstore locations and also can be ordered online at [www.delawareonline.com/bookstore]. For each book sold, $3 will be donated to the University of Delaware.

Fans who have purchased Return To Glory and would like to have it signed by Coach Keeler are invited to bring their books to the signing session.
