Individual game tickets available for UD basketball
 

10:33 a.m., Nov. 1, 2002--Individual game tickets for the 2002-03 University of Delaware men's and women's basketball home schedules at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center are now available, according to Mike Holdren, UD athletics ticket manager.

Tickets for each of Delaware's 13 men's games and 12 women's games are on sale at the Bob Carpenter Center and the Trabant University Center box offices.

The Bob Carpenter Center box office is open 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., on Saturday. The Trabant Center box office is open 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday. Both box offices are closed Sundays.

Tickets can be purchased over the phone through TicketMaster at (302) 984-2000 or online at [www.ticketmaster.com].

Tickets for men's game range from $5 for children to $12 for center court seats, while women's ticket prices range from $5 to $8. Group discounts are also available.

There are still season tickets available for both men's and women's basketball. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the Season Ticket Office at (302) 831-2257.

The Delaware men will host a team from the Ukraine in an exhibition game at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, with the regular season home opener set at 2 p.m., Dec. 1, against Long Island University.

The Blue Hen women will host a team from Melbourne, Australia, in an exhibition at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 4, with the regular season home opener slated for Dec. 4 against St. John's University of the Big East Conference.

Among the top men’s teams visiting The Bob this year will be the defending Ivy League champion University of Pennsylvania and defending Colonial Athletic Association champion University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

On the women's side, Delaware will host NCAA regional finalist Old Dominion University and Patriot League contender Bucknell University.
