Lieutenant Marna Hoard serves as Program Officer for Outreach of the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Program. She is responsible for overseeing the coordination of MRC outreach activities, which includes developing activities to increase awareness about the program, encouraging establishment of new MRC units, assisting with the provision of talking points and briefing materials for OSG, HHS, and USG officials, and participating in partnership and coordination activities with Federal government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and professional associations.

LT Hoard came to this position from the West Virginia University Center for Medical Preparedness, where she served as a Project Officer researching rural emergency medicine topics, with a particular emphasis on community collaboration.
