Emily B. DeMers is accreditation coordinator for the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP), an accreditation program for state/territorial and local government emergency management programs. Ms. DeMers received her bachelor's degree from Auburn University and her law degree from Jones School of Law. She has extensive experience in professional credentialing and administrative law and policy and has presented widely on professional regulatory issues. She has worked with EMAP as well as the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA) on emergency management issues since August 2000.
