Information for Prospective Graduate Students

Students may enter the interdisciplinary M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Marine Materials and Corrosion from any of the following backgrounds: Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering, Biology/Microbiology/Biochemistry. All students are expected to take courses on Corrosion and Corrosion Electrochemistry, Marine and Environmental Chemistry, Materials Science, Microbiology, and Biofilm Processes, regardless of their undergraduate background.

Successful applicants will typically have GRE combined scores (verbal + analytical) above 1250 and TOEFL scores above 600. Note that the University requires that the GRE and TOEFL (foreign applicants only) exams be taken prior to consideration for admission. University of Delaware Admissions.
