William René Bryant (Hunter) is a junior at the University of Delaware pursuing his second Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. After missing out on theatrical opportunities early on in life, William came to college eager to try his hand at musical theatre. After being cast in the spring of 2012 as “Raoul” in a student production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, William re-evaluated many things, including his major, and that fall he auditioned to be a music major in addition to his studies in Physics. After joining the Music Department, William has never looked back and has been happier than ever. Recent roles for William include “Schaunard” in Puccini's La Bohème, and “Figaro” and “Don Alfonso” in scenes from Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and Così fan tutte, respectively. William hopes to pursue both opera and musical theatre in the future.
Dennis Conner (Michael) is excited to participate in this new musical. He feels that it is an interesting challenge to learn a musical as it is actually being written. He has participated in many musicals previously, but Campus Chatter is his first entirely new musical. He notes that the cast and directors have been a true joy to work with, and he hopes the audience will enjoy the show as much as he and the rest of the cast did creating and shaping it.
