The University Coordinating Council for Student Services is charged with reviewing student services to determine whether they are being delivered effectively, establishing a process to assess student problems, informing the students of the services available, and preparing an annual report of student service activities for the Provost and the Vice President for Student Life.
The Council for Student Services is composed of the Director of the Center for Academic Advancement; the Director of the Office of Career Planning and Placement; the Director of the University Tutoring Service; the Director of the Writing Center; the Director of the Reading Study Center; the Assistant Dean of Students; the Assistant Dean of the College of Arts and Science; and the Counselor for Academic and Professional Programs, Division of Continuing Education and Statewide Programs.
The Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and the Dean of Students serve as Co-Chairpersons of the Council.
