Council of Deans


The Council of Deans is the principal advisory body to the Provost on policy regarding the conduct of academic programs, and it serves as a general forum for the discussion and resolution of problems relating to the administration of academic programs. The Council of Deans serves as a principal mechanism for communication to and from the academic departments on conduct of academic programs.

The Council is composed of the Provost, the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, the Associate Provost for Graduate Studies, the Vice Provost for Research, the Associate Vice President for Computing and Network Services, the Associate Provost for International Programs and Special Sessions, the Associate Provost and Director of Continuing Education, the Assistant Provost for Academic Budget Planning, all Academic Deans, and the Director of Libraries.
