Research Contracts and Grants Administration

The University maintains an office for administration of fiscal aspects of research grants and contracts. The Office of Sponsored Programs Administration works closely with the Vice Provost for Research and helps coordinate the administrative activities associated with University research. Assistance is given to faculty members in the mechanics and budgetary details of research proposals; in the legal and financial regulations set up by contracts, grants and fellowships; and in adherence to the obligations contracted in the name of the University. This service office seeks to relieve the principal investigator from much of the paperwork associated with sponsored research.
