Packages offer fans more fun
SPORTS | Blue Hen basketball fans are encouraged to “Get in the Game!” this season through a variety of special group promotions, including birthday party packages for kids, a unique opportunity to “high five” the team as it takes the court and a special chance to perform or scrimmage at halftime.
The “Hens High Five Tunnel” gives youth groups of 35 or more an opportunity to create a tunnel and high-five the Blue Hens as they take the court. Groups also receive recognition on the scoreboard and a photograph on the Bob Carpenter Center floor.
Groups of 50 or more can participate in a halftime performance or scrimmage and enjoy discounted ticket rates, group recognition on the scoreboard and a group photo on the BCC floor.
The birthday party package is for youth groups of 10 or more. Each party member receives discounted tickets and a food voucher for concessions. The birthday child will be recognized on the scoreboard message center and receive a gift from the UD basketball team.
Youth group promotions are not available for students of high school age.
