B&N UD Bookstore plans Holiday Weekend Dec. 11-14

12:05 p.m., Dec. 7, 2015--The Barnes & Noble University of Delaware Bookstore will celebrate the holiday season with a variety of activities and special sales during Holiday Weekend, Dec. 11-14.

The bookstore is located at 83 East Main St. in Newark.

June 6: UDid It! Picnic

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

On Friday, Dec. 11, all Champion products are 25 percent off. Starting at 2 p.m., the first 150 people who bring in two nonperishable food items for donation to the Delaware Food Bank will receive a free Delaware holiday shirt.

On Saturday, Dec. 12, all UD Christmas tree ornaments are 25 percent off. From 2-5 p.m., have your picture taken with Santa and the Grinch.

A "De-Stress Fest" is scheduled from 12:30-3:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, including Duck Donuts and 25 percent off UD hats, gloves and scarves. Yoga demonstrations will be presented from 12:30-2 p.m. by Julia at Empowered Yoga.

On Monday, Dec. 14, clearance clothing will be 50 percent off. 

On all four days, Clinique gift sets, general reading books, toys and games will be 25 percent off.

In the Blue Hen Café, any size holiday beverage will be $4.25, including peppermint mocha, gingerbread, caramel brulee, eggnog, pumpkin and salted caramel mocha. 

Anyone wearing an ugly sweater will be entered into an Ugly Sweater Contest.

All promotions are in-store only, and they cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts. 

Holiday Weekend hours will be 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11; 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12; noon-6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13; and 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14.
