University launches My UD Business to streamline access to forms, applications
11:48 a.m., Aug. 17, 2015--The University of Delaware recently launched My UD Business, a new service that allows students, parents, faculty members and employees to search or browse academic and administrative business forms and applications.
My UD Business organizes over 725 UD business forms and applications in a tile-based layout similar to the format used by popular e-commerce websites.

“My UD Business enables you to find the form or application you need without needing to know its formal name or the department that manages that application,” Joy Lynam, director, IT Web Development, explained.
“You can search for forms by keyword, or filter your results based on your role or by a business category.”
Other notable features include the option to mark forms and applications as favorites, view recently used and most popular forms and applications, and the ability to see more information about a resource, such as a description, contact information, and related forms and applications.
The forms and applications available through My UD Business are also searchable from UD’s Google Search Appliance or via www.google.com.
Lynam and the IT Web Development team do not anticipate users needing a lot of training to start using My UD Business, but plan to offer training upon request. “Our hands-on student and staff testing shows that the system can be used, without training, and we expect a quick adoption of the system,” Lynam said.
“My UD Business works the way students, staff and faculty expect to work – anytime, anywhere, on any device,” she added.
