Bucket List Day
Student Alumni Ambassadors sponsor UD Bucket List selfie contest
8:02 a.m., Oct. 7, 2014--Students are invited to attend the University of Delaware’s second annual UD Bucket List Day from noon to 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, at three locations around campus.
The UD Bucket List was created for students and alumni to engage in a series of activities that represent what it really means to be a Blue Hen.

The list encompasses 60 experiences that are truly unique to the University 17 gold items (for alumni) and 43 blue items (for students) in honor of the year 1743, to which UD traces its roots in the founding of the New London Academy by the Rev. Francis Alison.
UD Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAAs) will be stationed at three Bucket List locations around campus to promote the list, answer questions and hand out swag -- outside Kent Dining Hall to promote eating at every dining hall on campus; at Morris Library to promote rubbing Hugh Morris’s nose for good luck; and at Memorial Hall to promote having a picnic on The Green and signing their class banner.
Students may also visit the Cockpit Crazies at the Carpenter Sports Building, or Little Bob, to learn more about the Bucket List, and to get decked out for a football game. Free snacks and drinks will be provided at each station.
To help students document and share their progress, the UD Student Alumni Ambassadors are sponsoring a #UDBucketList selfie contest to win one of many Main Street gift cards.
Participants can post pictures of themselves completing Bucket List activities using the hashtag #UDBucketList. Follow @UDBucketlist on Instagram to see the best photos.
The contest runs from Oct. 9 through Homecoming, ending Oct. 18. Winners will include those with the most “likes.” Entries must be tasteful to qualify.
