‘Trick or Tweet’
Additionally, UD’s Social Media Ambassadors (SMAs) will be hosting a “Trick or Tweet” event on Thursday, Oct. 31. SMAs will be stationed at two locations in front of Morris Library and on the steps connecting the North Green to Main Street equipped with a new batch of UD’s official social media pins.
At each station, students can show SMAs a tweet using a specific hashtag (#UDel or #BlueHens) to receive a piece of candy and a pin. Different pins will be available at each station.
As a bonus, students who visit the Trick or Tweet locations dressed in costume can have their picture taken and shared in a special Blue Hen Says Facebook album.
Costume crafting
For even more Halloween social media coverage, follow SMAs @BlueHenLiz, @BlueHenDana and @BlueHenHillary on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 8-9 p.m. as they live tweet from Louis L. Redding Hall, where students will be making costumes for patients at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
