ISE Lab railings should not be used to secure bicycles
1:11 p.m., Oct. 2, 2013--Since the beginning of the semester, the stair railings on the north and south entries of the instructional wing of ISE Lab have been used to secure bicycles, creating a hazard. These stairways must be kept clear to ensure the safety of those entering and leaving the building.
Temporary bike racks have been provided as an interim measure until the new permanent racks are delivered and installed.

Signs have been posted warning bicyclists not to secure bikes to the ISE Lab railings, and warning tickets will be issued for bikes still locked there.
Two special events are scheduled at ISE Lab on Oct. 3 and 17, increasing traffic in and out of the building, and the ISE Lab entrances must be free of any obstructions. Any bikes locked to the railings on these days will be removed to allow safe access for invited guests and dignitaries.
