University announces employee wellness programs for June


9:30 a.m., May 30, 2014--University of Delaware faculty and staff may register now for June wellness programs offered by the Office of Human Resources’ HealthyU Employee Wellness Program. 

Faculty and staff have until June 30 to use their 2013-14 allotment of Wellness Dollars. Unused wellness dollars will be forfeited at that time and a new allotment is granted on July 1 for the upcoming fiscal year.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

June programs include:

Health screenings

Know Your Numbers screenings are scheduled Tuesday, June 3, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and Thursday, June 5, from noon-2 p.m. Screenings will be held at 125 Memorial Hall. Cost is 15 Wellness Dollars.

Hearing and bone density screenings are scheduled Tuesday, June 24, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sign in at 107 Memorial Hall. Cost is 10 Wellness Dollars for each screening.

Employee only fitness classes

Summer I session (5 weeks) runs for five weeks, from June 9-July 11. Cost is 10 Wellness Dollars per class.
