Parking Services expands customer assistance for students, staff, visitors


10:49 a.m., July 12, 2013--Parking Services has expanded its customer assistance services for students, staff and visitors.

Currently, parking staff members provide a vehicle jump start or unlock a vehicle for customers parked on campus. Beginning this month, parking staff members now also inflate tires and provide emergency gas transportation.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

When a tire is low or flat, they will use a portable air compressor to inflate the tire so the vehicle can be moved to a repair location.  

If the vehicle is out of gas, Parking Services will provide a ride to and from a local station and supply a gas container; the customer must purchase the fuel. 

These services are free to any vehicle on campus. 

To request a customer assistance service between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, please call Parking Services at 302-831-1184. At all other times, please contact Public Safety at 302-831-2222.
