Office of Alumni Relations asks for UD community's help during Alumni Weekend
2:26 p.m., April 28, 2014--The assistance of University of Delaware employees is needed during one of the University’s biggest events, Alumni Weekend, June 6-8.
“Volunteering during Alumni Weekend is a great way to connect with former students and show your appreciation for UD’s vibrant community of graduates,” an Office of Alumni Relations representative said, adding that “it is also a fun way to interact and meet colleagues from across the University.”

Over 4,400 alumni and friends have already registered to attend, and without Alumni Weekend volunteers the event would not be able to happen. To sign up, visit the Alumni Weekend volunteer registration form online.
All volunteers who work five or more hours receive free admission into Friday's Mug Night Dela-bration or Saturday's Lunch with the UD Mascots, both on The Green. Volunteers eligible for this free admission will be able to register for their free event on the same volunteer registration form. Volunteers are also able to register spouses, guests and children on the same form at full price.
Alumni Weekend
Held the first weekend after Commencement each year, Alumni Weekend is a tradition that is growing in popularity and in size. More than 5,000 Blue Hens and friends attended in 2013, participating in over 60 events and activities such as Mug Night, the Blue Hen 5K, President Patrick Harker's State of the University address and the Alumni Wall of Fame Ceremony.
