Seminar by associate editor of 'Science' reveals the ins and outs of scientific publishing
1:26 p.m., Sept. 28, 2012--Nick Wigginton, associate editor of the premier scientific journal Science, will present a seminar titled “Scientific Publishing from the Inside Out” on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 3:30 p.m. in 206 Kirkbride Hall.
Wigginton received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in environmental microbiology. His current areas of responsibility at the journal, published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), include geochemistry, geophysics, environmental science, hydrology and environmental microbiology, but his seminar topic will be informative for scholars in a wide variety of scientific disciplines.

The seminar is co-sponsored by the Department of Geological Sciences in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment and the Delaware Environmental Institute (DENIN).
